Summary
1. The law firm of Sutts, Strosberg LLP is lead counsel in a class action against Alange Energy Corp. (“Alange”), Luis E. Giusti, Michael Davies and Horacio Santos. The claim is on behalf of all persons, other than certain persons associated with the defendants, who acquired Alange securities on or after August 30, 2010 to and including January 12, 2011 and held some or all of those shares on January 13, 2011 (the "Class Members").
2. The class action concerns Alange’s reporting of its daily production of oil. The plaintiff alleges that throughout the Class Period, the defendants misrepresented Alange’s daily production of oil.
3. On January 13, 2011, Alange disclosed that it had revised its production numbers previously disclosed and that it had overstated its oil production by up to 39 percent. After the disclosure, Alange’s share price declined by 37 percent.
